On July 2, 2011, after a year of planning, I got married. After a year of that constant nagging feeling that there was something I was supposed to be doing, I was free! That was the plan, anyway. After getting back from the honeymoon and settling back into routine, that nagging feel is still there. I need to DO something.
Inspired by Maggie Mason of MightyGirl.com, I’ve started my own Life List: a list of goals (some big, some small) that I want to achieve. And to make sure I actually do them, these are only things I want to do–not things I should or wish I could do, but things I actually plan to accomplish at some point in my life. Because if there’s one thing I know about myself, it’s that I won’t do anything I feel nagged about–even if I’m the one doing the nagging.
Some of the items on my list will be easy (if time-consuming), some will be difficult and expensive, but they are all things that will make my life more interesting. And “interesting” is something I’ve been lacking for a while.
